The Founder of Westfields and Real Estate Titan passes away.

In this time of joy during the holidays, we are saddened to share with you all that the co-founder of Long & Foster Realty and the founder of The Henry A. Long Company and creator of Westfields Center and many other iconic developments in the Washington Metro Area passed away on December 8th in Warrenton Virginia according to local news.  The WBOA wishes to express our condolences to his family.   Mr. Long is survived by his sister and his four children along with their grandchildren.  

Mr. Long was a veteran of the Air Force and visionary in the real estate development community, a wonderful father and a caring human being as well a community leader.  We will truly miss him but his legacy continues on in the Westfields community and in the other landmarks he created and people he touched.
